Transmitter pulse shape
Pulse shape design is a product of the feasibility survey. After identification of source responsive frequencies, the signal – or pulse – must be tuned to contain the latter frequencies. Square waves are used to enable the maximum of energy to be transmitted.

  • 0’’ → 30’’: Same model as the model defined in the first step of the feasibility survey is loaded.
  • 31’’ → 53’’: Color-coded maps expressing amplitude anomaly provoked by the HC bearing layer is displayed. Abscissa axis corresponds to transmitter-receivers offsets while Intercept axis corresponds to frequencies. Frequencies up to 1.4 Hz ends to a noticeable response from the mode, and even better below 1 Hz.
  • 54’’ → 1’46’’: Pulse signal in time is tuned by the user to increase frequency content below 1 Hz.
  • 1’47’’ → 1’55’’: Retained pulse shape is displayed.
