The Hilbert transformation > Hilbert transform and phase change

The combination of a signal and its Hilbert transform allows us to obtain a pure phase change Θ, that is to say independent of the frequency. The phase change will be Θ for positive frequencies and -Θ for negative frequencies and null for the zero frequency.

The example shows the initial signal (in blue), for which we can set the starting time, with its envelope (in black), for which we can set the damping.
The example shows the signal after applying a phase change, for which it is possible to set a value between 0 and 360 degrees.
