The method which leads to maximum values for the kurtosis is the most efficient. It is the deconvolution of initial data using as a source signal the stack of initial data. Its associated Kurtosis curve is shown in blue. The kurtosis is ranging between 30 and 60.

The other methods based on correlation or whitening lead to Kurtosis values ranging between 20 and 30.
